Limited to one hundred pair in black, and one hundred pair in cream, these special edition glasses, our first artist collaboration, were designed with one of our very favorite LA artists, John Baldessari, using our L.A. RAYS frame style. The text reads “I will not look at any more boring art,” and Baldessari’s signature is printed on the inside temple. They are available from our online store, at Maxfield, Colette, MOCA and The Webster.

Yes, it’s him, the one-and-only. If you need a reminder, just read Roberta Smith’s recent review of his retrospective, “Pure Beauty” which recently closed at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. We love John Baldessari and are constantly inspired by both him and his game-changing artwork.

Don’t miss John Baldessari’s “Sediment,” the artist’s most recent body of work currently on view at Margo Leavin Gallery in West Hollywood. When played with properly, that funny little thing called semiotics will still catch fire. Who knows better how to make sparks fly than the master himself?  Up now through July 10th.
